TERMS & CONDITIONS

CHANGES IN ORDER

I accept changes (flavors,fillings and some designs) for your order with minimum 7 days notice before date of the event. This does not apply to custom cakes that include itricate designs because some designs (such as 3D characters or sugar flowers) will have been made or in the process of development by that time.

ORDER CANCELLATION

​

Cancellations are accepted up to 7 days before the delivery or pick up date. A cancellation fee will be incurred if insufficient time is given or if I have already made purchases towards order such as food cost, décor or preparation.

CANCELLATION FEES:

- 14 days or more prior to pick up or delivery date you will receive 80% of the total order refunded.

-7 days up to 13 days cancellation prior to delivery or pick up date will receive 50% of the total order refunded.

-Less than 7 days prior to pick up or delivery date will not be refunded. Any deposits made for large custom orders or cakes will not be refunded. Orders not custom cakes can qualify for a store credit valid for one year after cancellation date.

RUSH ORDER FEE:

Sweet Delicacies LLC will charge a rush order fee for cake requests that are made with less than a three weeks notice. Last minute custom order requests are considered on a case by case basis and the fee will be an additional 25% of the total order.

Sweet Delicacies LLC is not responsible for orders once they leave our premises. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter.

 

Keep in mind that cakes are fragile, and damages can happen if not handled properly, such as cracks smudges, melted frosting, etc.

 

Orders not picked up will not be refunded and if a customer does not pick up order within 24 hours after the order was due, Sweet Delicacies LLC has the right to re-sell order to prevent food waste.

 

Sweet Delicacies LLC is not responsible for any damage done to the product after it has been picked up or delivered. The client assumes full responsibility to handle ,cut, and serve cake or other baked goods. The client will be advised on how to store cake and desserts as well as if the cake contains cake supports.  The client will assume responsibility and assure themselves to remove all supports and non-edible elements off the cake before serving to others.

 

Sweet Delicacies is not responsible for any damage the product may suffer due to environmental conditions in which the cake is stored or displayed (location, temperature, weather, etc.)

Sweet Delicacies LLC will always strive to make sure your order is made fresh and to the specification requested upon order for. Every order is made fresh to order and decorative finishes are done by hand and subject to the artistic interpretation of the Baker/Decorator. I make no claims for exact duplication of the work done by another cake decorator but always do my best to meet your expectations.

.* Sweet Delicacies LLC is not responsible for any damages/consequences due to allergic reactions that customer failed to inform us when order was placed* It is very important to note and confirm all allergens and food restrictions when order is being placed to prevent any unfortunate events.
